ESB Blaster Construction

Stormtrooper E-11 Blaster
 | Photos #1 and #2 are a replica created with a metal barrel with resin
detail parts. The basis of this replica was a Sterling L2A2 "Airsoft"
rifle. |
 | Photo #3 is a comparison of the blaster replica and the Hasbro/Kenner toy
blaster. The electronics still function, and the folding stock is made of
two metal bars with a stapler attached to the end of the bars. |
 | Photos #4 and #5 are a replica purchased on e-Bay from Richard Cross of
the 501st Legion
(SL-1959). It appears to have a PVC tube for the barrel with resin
parts cast from a Sterling SMG rifle. A lot more accurate than the
Hasbro/Kenner conversion, and not as heavy as a solid resin or metal
replica.
